There’s a new craftsman in town. Ace Handyman Services Outer Banks will open with a ribbon cut on Friday, May 14th at 9:00 am in their office on 4112 N. Croatan Highway in Kitty Hawk.
Patrick “Packy” and Joanne Regan have lived on the Outer Banks for more than a decade. Both volunteer at the Beach Food Pantry, where Packy served as a board member. Joanne has been Guardian ad Litem for more than 12 years and continues to serve in that role for Dare County. Packy is the treasurer of the Outer Banks Community Foundation and serves as a real estate and financial advisor with the Southern Shores Fire Department.
“After owning multiple rental and residential properties in the Outer Banks, we were disappointed with the lack of quality service providers,” said Packy. “This is especially true for unlicensed businesses. We saw an opportunity to change the dynamic with the launch of Ace Handyman Services. “
Communication is key to the Regans.
“The idea is to communicate at an exceptionally high level before, during and after projects,” said Packy. The company uses technology to keep projects on track and on client’s schedule. They also offer a 12 month guarantee on all of their work.
Customers include permanent residents as well as houses in rental programs, AirBnB and VRBO.
The main work of the team includes carpentry work, painting work, floor installations, repairs of terraces, windows and doors.
“There are more than 1,100 projects we’re doing,” said Packy.
