After 65 Years, Paramus’ Fireplace is Extinguished

This 65-year-old Paramus institution announced its last day of operation at the end of July. The restaurant was a mainstay for burgers, sandwiches, and fries. Due to increased difficulty in operating the restaurant, as in one Instagram Post from the owners, they decided to close permanently and said to the guests, “It was an honor to serve you.” On his last day, hundreds of fireplace enthusiasts lined up to enjoy one final meal. The line wrapped around the parking lot is evidence of how much it will be missed.

Overlooking the water with beautiful Sunsets, The Swine Bar opened for fine dining this summer. Above of The surfing pig, Swine Bar is open daily from 5pm to 10pm, with the bar open Saturday to Sunday at 1pm and Monday to Friday at 3pm. the menu includes dishes such as American Kobe Beef Tartare, Lobster carbonara (with spicy ham and white truffle oil) and fig salad, as well as cocktails like the Stateside Cosmo and The surf goose (Gray Goose Vodka with Blue Cheese – Stuffed Olives).
