Handyman arrested after caught driving with headlight out on State Road 44

A local handyman was arrested after being caught driving a vehicle on State Road 44 with its headlights off.

Ryan Scott Kling, 29, who operates Ryan Kling Handyman Services LLC, was driving a white 2012 Ford Explorer on State Road 44 near Interstate 75 at 5:26 a.m. on Wednesday when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy noticed that the vehicle had no headlights. The vehicle also had a license plate that expired in February. The Fruitland Park resident was wanted on a warrant for failure to pay child benefit. His driver’s license has been suspended.

He was arrested for driving while his driver’s license was suspended. He was booked and released in the Sumter County Detention Center after putting on bail of $ 500 and a $ 677 cash flush for child support.
