Have spare time? Office of the Aging seeking yard work and handyman help for older adults

ITHACA, NY –– The Tompkins County Office of the Aging is liaising with the community to see if anyone would be willing to help older adults with gardening and / or handicraft services on a paid or volunteer basis.

As summer approaches quickly, lawn mowing, gardening, and general gardening are required, and many seniors are unable to complete these tasks on their own.

The office maintains a list of people ready to do garden work during the spring and summer months. They are currently updating their list and are in need of more workers, especially people willing to work in rural areas outside the city of Ithaca.
