New food delivery Noww launches in Ukraine, offers handyman services too | KyivPost

Mobile applications for the delivery of groceries Glovo, Bolt Food and Rocket played the role of magical geniuses able to fulfill every gastronomic wish even with the toughest quarantine measures in Ukraine.

And now there is another Spirit in the country – new delivery service Noww, available on Google play and Appstore.

However, the service doesn’t just deliver groceries. In addition to offering courier services, its employees, freelance workers, can also walk a dog, fix a computer, or even take out the trash Noww founder Artem Pavlyukovich.

As of February 24, Noww will only deliver groceries from Kiev restaurants such as Urban Grill, Musafir, SpicyNoSpicy, Pho People, The Burger Mexico and Sushi Avenue. The company will start supplying clothing from local retailers and large supermarkets (Novus, Metro, Cooker or FoodEx) next month.

The company will deliver groceries in large purple backpacks to contrast with the yellow of the Spanish glovo, green of the Estonian bolt, and the orange brands of the Ukrainian raketa.

Noww promises to deliver groceries for Hr 15 ($ 0.5) in under 30 minutes, while many restaurants deliver within an hour for Hr 60 ($ 2) or more, depending on the customer’s location.

In Ukraine, the company has to compete with Glovo, Bolt Food, Raketa, Zakaz.ua, and dozens of other services that emerged during the pandemic when people stayed home and ordered more food online. These services have thousands of customers and operate in different cities. However, Noww does not see them as rivals as they mainly focus on food delivery, while Noww wants to offer various services.

The company employs 80 couriers 25 craftsmen in his network. It hires people through an application form on its website. “Why download a lot of apps when you have a noww?” The company’s website is.

To encourage customers to use the app, the company is offering them 10-15% cashback on every order. The first time they order in the restaurant, users get 100% cashback, which means they get it almost for free.

Noww tries to attract couriers and craftsmen by offering high salaries – around $ 1,000 a month depending on the workload, while the average salary in Ukraine is around $ 400.

The company also plans to start its service in Odessa, the city around 480 kilometers south of the capital. Next year, Noww will launch its service overseas as well, but it will not be disclosed where exactly.
